It might seem like nightlife scenes can blend together for countries of similar culture and lifestyles –– especially if you are hopping borders in Europe. For example, a nightclub in Barcelona has a very similar vibe to a nightclub in Amsterdam; you almost can’t tell the difference.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]But what about other continents? What can you expect from the nightlife scenes when you fly across the ocean to an unfamiliar land?

From the ruin pubs in Budapest, to the insane nightclubs in Seoul, to beach parties in Mumbai and luxurious night clubs in Dubai – I will share the best party cities in the world on each continent! Hope you enjoy![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Disclaimer: I have partied on every continent except South America – so for that continent, I will gove some recommendations that I’ve been told by fellow travelers and friends.   Also, please keep in mind that these countries are just my top favorites, I know there are plenty more out there

ASIA

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The nightlife and EDM scene in Asia is rapidly spreading. As I’ve spent the majority of the last 3 years in Asia, I’ve witnessed countless nightclubs and music festivals popping up all over the place. Partying in Asia is inexpensive and super fun because most venues are open all night long!

Here are some of my favorite Asian countries to party in:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]South Korea – In my opinion, Seoul has the best nightlife in the world.  It is absolutely insane. Almost all Koreans drink Soju– Korean traditional liquor- with almost every single meal.   It is ridiculously cheap, about $1USD per bottle and is the most consumed alcoholic beverage in the world.

The top three areas for nightlife are Hongdae– the hipster, young college area, Gangnam– the Vegas style-clubbing district, Itaewon– the foreigner district with many cool bars.  No matter which one of these areas that go to, you’ll have a blast!

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Philippines – In my opinion, the Philippines is the world’s most underrated country for nightlife. I’ve been 5 times, and I just can’t get enough!

The party scene is composed of young, flashy and sexy partygoers who are looking to dance the night away. There are many upscale bars and clubs around town – mostly in either Makati or the Fort Area.   And there is also a “red light district” with a lot of cheap and dirty bars (but a lot of hookers).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]India – When most people think about India, they certainly don’t think about a crazy nightlife scene. I definitely had no idea of India’s nightlife prior to my trip, but damn did I have a fun time!

In recent years, India has become popular for it’s bars, night clubs and music festivals. So whether your idea of partying is relaxing on a rooftop while sipping beer, or raging all night long at a night club, or dancing to EDM at a music festival, India has something special to offer all of you party animals. The two biggest party cities are Goa and Mumbai.

EUROPE

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The insane European party scene should come as no surprise to you. Almost every major city has a wide variety of bars and nightclubs that’ll stay open until the wee hours of the morning.

Here are some of my favorite countries to party in Europe:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Spain – The nightlife in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, etc) is exceptional, and goes above and beyond most countries in the world.  I can honestly say that I have never partied harder in my life than my 4-day trip to Barcelona.

What makes the nightlife culture so unique in Spain is the fact that the locals usually take “siestas” or long naps after dinner, which means that they won’t go out until 12 or 1 and will party until the sun rises.  Seriously, the peak hours at the bars/clubs are probably 2-5AM.  One of the coolest experiences of my life was partying at a club until 5 AM at this club called Opium in Barcelona, and stumbling outside on the beach to watch the sunrise.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sweden – It’s hard to have a bad time partying in Sweden when you’re constantly surrounded by some of the most attractive people in the world! Both guys and girls dress to impress and they always look damn sexy!

The Electronic Dance Music scene is very popular in Sweden, because many of the worlds best DJ’s are from Stockholm.  Therefore, the big cities like Stockholm and Gotherburg have some of the best dance music clubs in the world.  No matter what day of the week it is, you can always go out clubbing and there will be a fun crowd.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Serbia – Believe it or not, Belgrade is the king of nightlife in Eastern Europe and the Balkan Region. Every night in Belgrade is treated like a Friday night, and the clubbing scene is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

During the summer months (May-September), the focus of the nightlife takes place on floating river clubs on the Danube and Sava rivers.  As the name suggests, these are big open boats that have been turned into raging discotheques.   Most all the clubs that I attended were filled with local Serbs who dance the night away until sunrise.  Yes, 6 or even 7 in the morning.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

North America

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I love partying in North America! The people there are open, friendly and welcoming – and they love to drink. It’s so easy to make new friends when you’re partying in North America, and it’s FUNN.

Here are some of my favorite countries to party in North America:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]USA – My native land, the USA offers the largest variety of nightlife in the world. Anything and everything that you can possibly imagine for a night out is possible in America. My top favorite cities to party are Vegas, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta and San Diego!

Canada – From the few times I’ve spent in Canada, I have to admit that I’ve always had a fun time. Given that it’s cold almost year-round in Canada, the beer drinking scene is massive! It’s almost as if Canadians drink to keep warm, and this drinking culture perfectly reflects into the nightlife scene. Check out Toronto and Vancouver – you will be impressed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Africa

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You may not expect there to be a growing nightlife scene in Africa, but trust me, it exists! I will admit that this is the most culturally diverse and interesting place to have a drink, but sometimes the most unexpected nights are the best ones.

Here are some notable countries to party in Africa:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]South Africa – Partying in Cape Town is about as good as it gets. Great beach weather, mixed with welcoming people and an energetic party scene will keep you wanting more!   Dance the night away at a club on the beach, or relax in a swanky lounge – there is something for everyone in this awesome city.

Kenya – In Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, beer and other forms of alcohol in are common and easily available. A night out in Kenya usually consists of hanging out at cool bars with friends and meeting others. You will find a large range of people that go out, and sometimes, the scene can be divided.   But it’s still a great time![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Botswana – I bet you never expected to see Botswana on this list, but you better believe it! So this country is getting more and more influenced by Western society, you will definitely see an upswing in the nightlife culture! With a large youthful population, you can find an assortment of outdoor music festivals and chilled-out bars.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

South America

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I am least familiar with partying in South America, and that’s about to change soon when I visit this summer!   I’ve only heard incredible things from my friends about the wild nights in Rio or Buenos Aires, it sounds insane!

Here are some notable countries to party in South America:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Brazil – As you may have heard about, the nightlife in Brazil’s big cities of Rio and Sao Paulo (as well as all around the country) is insane!   I’ve heard that you have to pace yourself when going out on the town in Brazil, because people usually eat dinner around 10pm and most clubs don’t open until midnight. You will surely be dancing and drinking the night away until the wee hours of the morning!

Argentina – The ever-so-famous city of Buenos Aires is probably the most renowned city for nightlife in South America. Expect to see a large assortment of tango clubs, music festivals and nightclubs that stay open all night long. The city has a vibrant, energetic culture with almost everyone loving to dance![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Australia

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Nightlife is great in the land down under.  If I learned one thing in Sydney, it is that Aussies love to drink!

Whether you like to sit back and enjoy a cold beer, socialize and listen to live bands or dance the night away at a crazy club, Sydney has a place for you.  Downtown in the city is where most of the posh clubs, nice bars and live-music venues are at.

The main clubbing area is called King’s Cross and it’s definitely the place to be “seen” around Sydney (AKA dress nice and have bills to spend).  Here, you will find all the strip joints, sex shops and trendy places that stay open really late.
