With such a short amount of time, we wanted to experience the best spots of the island and we got to do so with Roberts Hawaii Circle Island tour.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]What better way to see the island and get a taste of the Hawaiian culture and history and seeing the best spots through the locals eyes. Although we spent a lot of time in the car driving around (and running back to the bus due to the cold weather), the circle Island tour was exactly what we were looking for in regards to seeing what Oahu has to offer. Roberts Hawaii Circle Tour was perfect![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our drivers name was Ted, or cousin Ted, and he was the best. So knowledgeable, funny, cute, and had plenty of entertaining stories during a long bus ride. If you can get Ted as your driver, we highly recommend him!

We were picked up at 730am, bright and early, and off we went![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We drove by most places and stopped at a few stops to take pictures. Our itinerary went like this: Drive by Diamond Head, Kahala Estates, a stop at Hanauma Bay, a stop at Halona Blowhole, a stop at Waimanalo Town (our least favorite stop), a stop at Nuuanu Pali Lookout, a stop at Byodo-In Temple, a stop at Kualoa Ranch passing the Chinaman’s hat, passed through North Shore Surfing Beaches with a cheeky 5 minute stop at Sunset Beach, and finally, the Dole Plantation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We drove by most places and stopped at a few stops to take pictures. It is featured in Blue Hawaii, starring Elvis Presley. Waimanalo was a small town, quaint and quiet. It was the longest stop but I would have much rather stopped longer at the beached.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Pali Lookout is ahas a super deep historical significance. The Pali Lookout is the site of the Battle of Nuuanu, where the King won the struggle that finally put Oahu under his rule.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Pali lookout is consistently windy, going from 40 mph to 80 mph gusts of wind![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Byodo-In Temple is a non-practicing Buddhist temple but welcomes people from all faiths to worship, meditate or simply appreciate its beauty. It’s beautiful if you have the bravery to make it out there![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Shaka sign (Hang loose) was made popular on the north shore of Oahu. A famous leader, Hamana Kalilii, lost three fingers from his right hand in an industrial accident.
