I once found a sticky note on the wall that said, “You are awesome.” That message made me smile for the rest of the day. The message was small, kind and unexpected, but it had a huge impact on my attitude. I can’t help but think I smiled a little brighter and passed that happy attitude on to anyone who crossed my path. I started to think to myself, what is the journey of a good deed and just how far can it go? How much of an impact do we really have on the world? Global Love Fund was started to answer those questions and to inspire others with a random act of kindness.

We are a young project and I invite you to join us in this movement. Our YouTube series will feature episodes from different countries. In each one we will give travel advice and have adventures, but more importantly, we will find a stranger and perform a random act of kindness (ROAK). After the ROAK, we will give that person a Love Fund card. These cards are where the magic happens, each one has a personal hand-written message and a special number. That number is what allows the community to track the card world-wide. Users can go online, write their story about how they received the card and also track where it’s been! Then when they’re done they find someone else and pass it on. As people perform RAOK and pass the card on, it will show just how far one good can go and show what impact one action can truly have on the world. Need a visual of this cycle? Don’t worry so do I. Check out the info graphic below.

We are taking this idea abroad because we want to see these cards going far and wide, but we also believe travel is necessary to create a movement. We want to bring a positive change into the world and in order to change the world, you must first see and try to understand the world.

For the first season will be traveling to Asia and the goal is to visit 17 countries in 6 months, with an extended stay in Nepal to volunteer there. In every country we will hand out Love Fund cards, with written messages from us and also from our viewers. With everything from messages of affirmation to wishes of luck, we believe that each card is a chance to brighten someone’s day and create a positive vibe for them and those around them. This is your chance to share your message with the world. What will you say? To join the movement and spread your message visit www.globallovefund.com
